Scholarships & Awards

The Kendra has a regular scheme to award scholarships to brilliant and indigent students on the basis of their results in the various examinations conducted by the Kendra. The recipients of such scholarships are provided with opportunity for further training and education in the subject(s) of their choice at Chandigarh under the able guidance of highly qualified teachers of the Kendra. These scholarship awardees, on completion of their training, are also provided assistance in securing suitable placement in educational institutions in both public and private.

In 2008, the Kendra instituted two annual awards for those meritorious candidates who top in Bhaskar and Visharad final examinations of the Kendra. “Guru M.L. Koser Award for Excellence” is presented to the student/s that stands first in the Bhaskar final while a candidate who tops in Visharad examination is felicitated with “Sh. Sunil Koser Award for Excellence”. Both the awards carry a medal, a memento and a certificate of merit.
