In order to provide platform to young and upcoming artists which is one of the main aims and objects of the Kendra, the Kendra decided to organize quarterly baithaks of classical music and dance in collaboration with India Habitat Center, New Delhi under the series “Legends of Tomorrow” and first of such baithak which was held on 25-04-2015 at Amaltas Auditorium, IHC New Delhi featured noted vocalist Renu Gupta and Satvik Veena wizard Salil Bhatt. On this occasion felicitated Ustad Akram Khan and Pandit Salil Bhatt for their tremendous contribution in the field of music, Kendra conferred “Taal Samrat Award” upon Ustad Akram Khan and “Tantree Samrat Award” upon Pt. Salil Bhatt.
The second quarterly baithak was held on 25th July 2015 and on this occasion Sh. Fareed Hasan, a young and talented artist of Delhi presented vocal recital and Spectacular Chetan Joshi cast magical spell with his soothing Flute recital.
The third quarterly baithak at New Delhi under the “Legends of Tomorrow” was held on 2nd November 2015 at Amaltas Auditorium, IHC New Delhi.
The fourth quarterly baithak at New Delhi under the “Legends of Tomorrow Series” featured Samarjit Sen(Sitar) & Amrita Dutta Majumdar(Vocal) was held on 30th January 2016 at Amaltas Auditorium, IHC New Delhi.
Pracheen Kala Kendra, Chandigarh, the premier organization dedicated to the promotion, preservation and propagation of Indian classical art and culture organised Two day 5th Quarterly baithak of Kendra under the series “Legends of Tomorrow”.It was featured incredible Kathak dance performance by Dr. Samira Koser and a scintillating Bharatnatyam jugalbandi by Young and talented Himanshu Srivastava & Ankita Kaushik, incredible Kuchipudi dance by Meenu Thakur & Troupe and vivacious kathak jugalbandi by Vasu & Vaibhav Krishna at the Triveni Kala Sangam The two day dance feast featured young and versatile artists and accomplished musicians.
Pracheen Kala Kendra organised its 6th Quarterly Baithak under the series “Legends of Tomorrow ” performed by Dr. Megha Talegaonkar & Sushri Shubhra Talegaonkar (Vocal Jugalbandi ) and Ustad Asgar Husain (Violin Recital) at the Lok Kala Manch, New Delhi Musical Programme was organized by Pracheen Kala Kendra, Chandigarh in collaboration with Lok Kala Manch, New Delhi.
