Rules and Regulations
  Bhushan
 
1
Part-I, Part-II and Part-III examination in Classical Music (Vocal and Instrumental), Classical Dance, Fine Arts (Painting) and Recitation.
There shall be three examinations for the Bhushan course in the subjects referred to above.
The course for the Bhushan examination shall extend over a period of three academic years.
   
2 The examination shall be held every year on such date as may be fixed by the Pracheen Kala Kendra, Chandigarh in this behalf, the said date of examination being ordinarily notified at least one month before the commencement of the Theory examination.
   
3 Subject to their compliance with the requirements of the Ordinances and Regulations of the Pracheen Kala Kendra, Chandigarh , students of the Teaching Departments maintained by the Kendra or of a College affiliated to it or a Constituent College of the Pracheen Kala Kendra, Chandigarh shall be eligible for admission.

Subject to their compliance with the requirement of this Ordinance, the following persons shall be eligible for admission to the examination:-
Bhushan Part-I (1st Year)
A student of the Teaching Department of Pracheen Kala Kendra, Chandigarh.
A student of an affiliated or a Constituent College
A private candidate who fulfills the required conditions as laid down by the Pracheen Kala Kendra, Chandigarh , for regular students.
Provided that he or she shall have passed the Prarambhik final examination conducted by Pracheen Kala Kendra, Chandigarh or any other examination recognised by the Kendra as equivalent to its Prarambhik final examination.
 
   
 
Bhushan Part-II (2 nd Year)
A student of the Teaching Department of Pracheen Kala Kendra, Chandigarh.
A student of an affiliated or a Constituent College
A private candidate who fulfills the required conditions as laid down by the Pracheen Kala Kendra, Chandigarh , for regular students.
Provided that he or she shall have passed the Bhushan Part-I examination conducted by Pracheen Kala Kendra, Chandigarh or any other examination recognised by the Kendra as equivalent to its Bhushan Part-I examination
   
 

Bhushan Part-I (3 rd Year)

A student of the Teaching Department of Pracheen Kala Kendra, Chandigarh.
A student of an affiliated or a Constituent College
A private candidate who fulfills the required conditions as laid down by the Pracheen Kala Kendra, Chandigarh , for regular students.
Provided that he or she shall have passed the Bhushan Part I & Part II examination conducted by Pracheen Kala Kendra, Chandigarh or any other examination recognised by the Kendra as equivalent thereto.
   
5 Every application for admission to the examination shall be in the prescribed form and shall reach the Registrar of the Kendra within the time limit prescribed in this behalf each year.
   
6 Bhushan Part I and Bhushan Part II candidates must appear in the theory papers. No oral permission is granted or valid.
   
7 The application form shall be accompanied by the examination fee prescribed by the Kendra from time to time.
   
8 On the report of the Head of the Department or of the Principal of a college or otherwise, the Registrar may refuse admission to or exclude any candidate from the examination at any stage if he is satisfied that such candidate is not a fit person to be admitted thereto.
   
9 If it is discovered that any wrong statement is made by the applicant in the examination form, by error, malpractice or fraud or any other reason(s) whatsoever and whereby the examinee has, in the opinion of the Registrar, been a party in giving wrong information, the Registrar shall have the power at any time to amend the result of such examinee including the cancellation of result. No correspondence of any kind, in this behalf, shall be entertained. In such case decision of the Kendra shall be final and binding on the candidate.
   
10 A candidate can appear direct in Bhushan Part-I and Bhushan Part-II examination in Music, Dance, Fine Arts (Painting), Recitation etc. if he/she submits a certificate from concerned centre superintendent along with his/her admission form to the effect that he/she is fit to appear direct in the Bhushan Part-I or Bhushan Part-II examination of the Kendra provided he/she has fulfilled all other conditions.
   
11 For direct permission to get admission into Bhushan Part-III examination, a candidate must have five years of teaching experience in reputed institution(s). Relevant documents/certificates will have to be submitted to the Kendra duly attested by a gazetted officer.
