Baithak Programme
  Every event of classical music and dance it has undertaken to organise, Pracheen Kala Kendra has established a new record and added to its already acknowledged position of first rate institution wedded to the promotion, preservation and dissemination of art and culture not merely in India but in other countries also.

This is so true about the "Baithak" programme which was launched in June, 1996 primarily to provide a platform to the promising upcoming and talented artists from the field of the performing arts. "Baithak", as the word also suggests, is a kind of sitting or session where committed and keen listeners assemble to have a close rapport with the artist. Precisely in these very environs the "Baithak" of the Kendra began its present journey which has come to create new milestones of artist-audience rapport as endorsed by the growing popularity of the programme.

For the Kendra and those wedded to its philosophy of preserving the strong Indian heritage of music and dance, the Baithak Programme has come to stay as a major milestone in fulfilling commitments towards the new generation of music and dance lovers.
